 | FRANCO BECCHIS, Scientific Director | Scientific director of Fondazione per l’Ambiente since its creation, he coordinates research programmes on the interaction between economics, energy and environment and on local public services, as well as capacity building and support activities for local public entities. Contract professor in Environmental Economics at the Polytechnic of Torino and University of East Piedmont, and now at the Saint John International University in Vinovo (Torino). His scientific interests and his publications range from public economics to environmental and regulatory economics. Recently he has decided to become an “on the road economist”, publishing a book (Economics in Pills, in Italian, www.economistadistrada.it) which aims to propose basic economics to the large public. He is the author of Happy Hour Finance, e-book published by Sperling&Kupfer, the first Italian financial novel. From beer and small daily debts to high finance, this short novel takes us to Berlin, New York, London and Myconos allegorically describing some of the reasons for the financial crisis that we are experiencing. | | |
 | ELISA VANIN, Project Manager | Graduated in International Relations at Università di Trieste. She attended a course on European Project Management in Brussels, followed by a traineeship at the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Veneto Region. She worked some years in a consultancy specializing in European Policies and European project management. Since 2010 she has been collaborating with Fondazione per l’Ambiente, before as School Secretariat coordinator of the International Summer School on regulation of local public services and now as project manager of the Turin School of Local Regulation. | | |
 | DANIELE RUSSOLILLO, Coordinator of training and capacity building modules | Expert in market instruments for environment and energy polices and in integrated cost-benefit analysis of energy systems. He has experience in project management and in the development and management of web-based collaboration tools. Since 2004 he has been collaborating with Fondazione per l’Ambiente, where he has been appointed as Program Manager and works in the research stream “Energy and Environment”. | | |
 | FULVIA NADA, Project assistant | Graduated in Environmental Economics and Policies at the University of Torino, she spent a period in the USA as a trainee at Stony Brook University (NY). At Fondazione per l'Ambiente she works as Project assistant of the International Summer School on regulation of local public services and of the Turin School of Local Regulation. | | |
 | PATRIZIA PERSICO, Administration | Graduated in Law at the University of Torino, she has been working for several years in the marketing sector at her family's enterprise. she is active as volunteer at Gruppo Abele in Torino, where she is in charge of conflict mediation. She is attending a course on systemic counselling. She is in charge of the Administrative Secretariat at Fondazione per l'Ambiente. |
